We left Chiang Mai early in the morning and flew black to Bangkok by Thail Lion, a low-cost airline. It was the best way to leave the city having a bonus of a perfect sunrise. Nevertheless, you can go back to the capital by train and that was exactly what the other half of our group did. The ticket can, and must, be bought in advanced or on the day of the travel. As I said in the last post, we had an amazing experience at the Si Phum Heritage Hotel, and since we had to leave early that day to visit the elephants, they were kind enough to buy the train tickets for them. Pretty special!
